-
QUANTITY -- Number of pieces
-
WIDTH
-- In inches or fractions thereof.
-
LENGTH--
In inches or fractions thereof.
-
OPENING--
Hole size and shape, hole centers and arrangement either
straight or staggered. If slots are employed specify
direction of slots and type of pattern (end or side
staggered). Specify width of bar or open area. If material
flows over the sheet for screening purposes specify
direction of flow in relation to width and length. Normally
a staggered pattern is produced with the inline holes
parallel to the long edge of the sheet. Although it
is possible to produce the inline holes in the opposite
direction in some cases, it is best to consult the factory
where this type of pattern is required.
-
PLATE
THICKNESS -- In decimals of an inch or U.S.S. steel
gauge for steel, stainless or aluminum, (whichever applies).
-
TYPE
OF MATERIAL -- Specify type of plate: Plain steel
(either hot or cold rolled) stainless, aluminum, brass
or galvanized.
-

-- Dimension of margins, state minimum and maximum allowable.
Send sketch or sample whenever possible. Normally an
unfinished pattern is produced at the beginning and

possible to produce a finished pattern but it may require
special tooling. Please consult the factory for a finished
pattern.
-
EDGE
PREPARATION -- If the plate is to be formed for
mounting in a machine specify: Machine make and hook
style.
-
TOLERANCE -- If your application requires specific tolerances
for width, length, squareness or similar specifications
it is important to specify while ordering.
-
ROTARY
SCREENS -- Precise dimensions and drawings should
always be supplied because of the accuracy involved.
-
SCALPING
SCREENS -- Heavy duty perforating is available in
our heavy duty department to meet almost all scalping
plate requirements.
-
RUBBER
COVERED PLATE -- Specify thickness of plate, rubber
and type of rubber desired.
-
FURTHER

brazing and similar fabrications are available at the
factory.
