EXPANDED METAL SCREENS

How to Order

 

 

1. Specify the size of the sheet, listing SWD first.

2. Specify the number of sheets required.

3. Specify the nominal width of the diamond SWD. (eg. ¼”, ½”, ¾”, etc.).

4. Specify the style of the sheet (eg. #20, #18, #16, etc.).

5. Specify Raised or Flattened.

6. Specify the type of metal required (eg. Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, etc.)

Terminology

 
SWD - “Short way of diamond/
design” dimension.
LWD - “Long way of diamond/
design” dimension.
SWO - “Short way of opening”
dimension.
LWO - “Long way of opening”
dimension.
Strand Thickness - Equal to
the thickness of the sheet of
metal used.
Standard Width - Amount of
metal fed under the dies to
produce one strand.
